    Chicago 10
    Film
    6 p.m.
Brett Morgen explores the buildup to-and unraveling of-the Chicago conspiracy trial after the 1968 Democratic National Convention. The film presents contemporary history with a forced perspective, mixing bold and original animation with archival footage and an explosive soundtrack. Chicago 10 features animated representations of all the key figures of the trial voiced by top independent film talent (Hank Azaria, Mark Ruffalo, Dylan Baker, Jeffrey Wright, Liev Schreiber, Nick Nolte and the late Roy Scheider). A discussion follows the film. The ITVS films will be shown captioned and the panel discussions will be ASL interpreted by DEAF Media. Free.

The ITVS Community Cinema Series at the museum features sneak previews of films scheduled for upcoming broadcast on the Emmy Award–winning PBS series Independent Lens; the series is presented by Oakland Museum of California and ITVS in partnership with the Oakland Film Office, KQED Education Network, DEAF Media, and Hands On Bay Area. Included with museum admission.
